WP1 is the first study aiming to understand which factors foster intersectional equality in participatory and deliberative processes. The findings will allow us to make recommendations for promoting intersectional equality.

 

In order to reach this goal, WP1 will, first, develop a novel conceptual frame for assessing intersectional equality. Second, WP1 will collect data on 30 cases across Europe and, third, analyse the data via Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA). The database and the findings will also serve to contextualise the INSPIRE participatory pilots WP3 within a broader set of cases.
